SNOW!!!

o how i love the snow. actually i really do, when i am inside looking out the window it is really pretty and enjoyable. i have made it to the start of my 2nd winter, only falling once. and it was not even that bad.
i have not had a chance to update in a while. this semester has been totally crazy. i got really involved this year. i am on student senate, the ripon college dems (im now the president) the radio station, along with working...and o ya class.
i love being a politics major with all the things going on in the world, there is never a dull moment.
the best part of the year has probably been the radio show, hawks view news. we had an awesome election coverage and do a great show every week,
i work at the national forensic league now so i should probably get back to work...

Back in town

i am back in ripon! well i have been here for 3 1/2 weeks, and its great. i still live with my same roommate from last year, and we always have a good time. its amazing how fast summer turned into fall this year, i am hoping that soon we will have a few more warm days! i love all my new classes. especially fencing which my roommate and i are taking together. she likes to dance while we fence. i am working away at the first admissions event for the year, the first open house. i have to miss the actual event because i am going to Iowa for the first forensics tournament of the year! i cant wait for that, actually i can because there is so much work to be done! more later!

summer in the city

well im far from wisconsin right now, back in southern california and at 10:20pm at nights it is about 80 degrees, i would almost take freezing weather condidtions over this.
not going to post this summer except for once and a while to keep it active.

wisconsin coaches association state tournament: FORENSICS!!!

today was so long! i got up at 530 am so i could be outside ready to go at 6 am! we began setting up then! there were 1000 high school students from all over the state competing for state champion in 17 different speaking events... last night i judged the congress rounds which were interesting to say the least. to day i did errands and all sorts of other things. i really love being on the speech team because it is made up of so many wonderful people. it is also so nice to part of a community like forensics were everybody jsut gets along! it took voer 12 hours to complete the day but now im in my and showered. im exhausted but it was so much fun!

flip-flop season again

the snow is gone, the snow has melted, i could do a sing and dance. its a sunny 47degrees! im really happy! school is almost over and there is a lot to do, roughly 4 papers, 3 finals, a forensics tournament, an expo and packing! its been a great year!
today we are catching up on some gilmore girls and enjoying being comfy in our chairs, i think i shall go outside for a while and maybe hit up the gym!

winter has come again

ok so this is getting sad and old. its cold again and it snowed yesterday luckily it all melted but still i want sunshine!!!!
for phonathon party yesterday there was a drawing for a custom bike designed and made by the college president; and i won im super excited about it and cant wait till the fall when i can ride it all over ripon!!!!!

the snow has finally melted!

well its been a while but i have been really busy with school work and work in general. the snow has finally melted and i couldnt be happier! this weekend we went for walks and flew kites on the practices fields. my friend tore hers so she had to fly my kite instead but it was still fun! we only have 1 month left and though i love being here it will be nice to go home and see my family and friends for the summer!!
